East of the church in Øster Lindet, just outside the church dike, stands the bowl stone from Øster Lindet.

Bowl stones are sacred stones from the Bronze Age, in which a number of holes or small bowls have been carved. It is known for certain that there has been a human hand at work, the holes are not created by nature, and it is believed that the purpose of the holes is to be fertility symbols.

The bowl stone in Øster Lindet was found in 1937, and it has since stood in various places. The history of the bowl stone's whereabouts  later is read on a fine information board next to the stone.
